The unusual museum mummies Ferentillo Umbria #Italie

Ferentillo is a village in southern Umbria near the town of Terni. There is a small museum rather unusual in the Church of San Stefano.

 Indeed, during the expansion of the church, the mummified body in perfect condition, has been updated and exhumed. Natural mummification is due to a fungus.

 These mummies are on display in the crypt of the church in open windows (for air circulation) and stories (where known) is told in a simple rudimentary leaf. It is possible to have the French version.

 I have not remembered everything but you can find for example:

•      a murdered lawyer

•      a couple of young Chinese married

•      soldiers of Napoleon's army

What is particularly surprising is that the body remained in the position when they die.

Teens and fans of horror movies will love this museum!
